Daniel Lloyd Jones has joined EMI Music Publishing U.K. as A&R manager.

The former press officer joins from Warner Brothers Records where, for the past five years, he has helped break a string of bands including My Chemical Romance, Gnarls Barkley, the Subways and the Enemy.

Based in London, he reports to EMI Music Publishing U.K. managing director Guy Moot, and senior VP of A&R Kenny McGoff. He will continue to work on press for artists including the Enemy, the Fratellis, Haunts and Sergeant through his own Jonestown Media company, which will now run through EMI Music Publishing.

The music publisher's U.K. A&R team has tapped a rich vein in recent years, signing the likes of Amy Winehouse, the Feeling, the Fratellis and Scouting For Girls, James Blunt and the Feeling, whose sophomore album "Join With Us" opened at the top of the new Official U.K. Albums Chart, published today.
