Online music licensing marketplace Ricall has struck deals with independent music publishers Big Life Music and Blue Mountain Music.

Through the agreements, unveiled today, the two publishers will upload onto the Ricall online music licensing database their respective catalogs, which includes works by Bob Marley, Free, Snow Patrol, the Waterboys, Futureheads and Badly Drawn Boy.

Ricall's platform enables third-party users to license works for synchronisation.

The London-based firm, which was launched in 1998, claims to be the world's largest online music licensing marketplace, containing a library of more than three million tracks from 25,000 copyright owners.

It recently forged a licensing deal with EMI, and has an existing agreement with Sony BMG.
