Robert Horowitz has joined Primary Wave Music Publishing as COO/head of business development. He was a director at Credit Suisse where he was the architect of Primary Wave's capital structure.

Horowitz will oversee the company's business development and strategic acquisitions, as well as help expand Primary Wave's banking relationships.

He brings more than 17 years of Wall Street experience to Primary Wave. Horowitz was responsible for a number of landmark transactions, including the first securitization of an international catalog of music copyrights -- a $100 million transaction for the Chrysalis Group, Plc. -- and a series of financings raising more than $1 billion for pharmaceutical royalty aggregator Royalty Pharma.

Horowitz arranged acquisition financing at Credit Suisse for clients in mergers and acquisitions situations in the media, telecom and retail sectors. He worked closely with the bank's proprietary investing arm to deploy capital into various start-up and emerging businesses.

Prior to Credit Suisse, Horowitz held senior positions with the Royal Bank of Scotland, Greenwich Capital Markets and Oppenheimer & Co.

Horowitz is based in New York and will report to CEO Larry Mestel.
