Boosey & Hawkes has appointed Lucy Heyman to the role of digital synch manager within their synch and marketing consultancy team. The London-based music publisher has been expanding its synch activities, with recent tie-ups with brands including Nokia and the Jitrois fashion label.

Heyman, formerly operations manager at the Brighton-based online music tutorial Show Me How To Play, will report to head of consultancy Natasha Baldwin.

"We have seen our synch activities in the digital space grow hugely in recent times and it was time to get someone in who could specialize in this area," said Baldwin in a statement. "We already have great relationships with the key digital marketing agencies and Lucy is going to be instrumental in developing our offering moving forward."

Boosey & Hawkes' catalog includes classical, jazz and contemporary artists such as Polyphonic Spree and Sia.
