Israeli singer songwriter Aviv Geffen has signed a publishing deal with BMG Rights Management in Berlin for his first English language album.

The album "Aviv Geffen" (Mars Records/Rough Trade) was produced by award-winning Trevor Horn, who is sub published by BMG Rights Management, and by Ken Nelson, who produced Coldplay's "Parachutes" and "A Rush of Blood to the Head."

The album will be released on Aug. 28 in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux. Aviv Geffen has received numerous gold certifications and other awards for his previous 14 albums.

Markus Hartmann, European manager of Aviv Geffen in Munich, said in a statement: "Aviv is an exceptional artist and an outstanding person living a dedicated life. We are very happy to join forces with BMG Rights."
