Opus 19 Music, which was created as a partnership between the Alan Ett
Creative Group and Fuji Entertainment Group, will exclusively represent ARC Music for all territories outside Japan and Southeast Asia. Arc Music was acquired by Fuji Media Holdings, the parent of Fuji Entertainment Group, in January.

ARC, the publishing arm of Chess Records, publishes the works of Chuck
Berry, Bo Diddley, Howlin’ Wolf, Elmore James, John Lee Hooker, Jimmy Reed, Sonny Boy Williamson, among other legendary artists. Its songs have been used in many commercials, films and television shows as well as serving as the core of the film "Cadillac Records," which was about Chess Records.

“As my family’s history is so attached to the ARC catalog, I have waited
many years for the right buyer to make the right offer," said Marshall Chess, CEO of ARC Music.

Opus 19 president Evan Medow, a veteran music publisher who was instrumental in putting the deal together on behalf of FEA, said, "I have been chasing ARC for a long time and I am glad we finally caught them. The songs are an...authentic slice of American musical history."
