"P" is for promotions at Google under the company’s Alphabet parent. In a recent internal memo sent to employees, CEO Sundar Pichai announced a shuffling of his exec team that gave new titles to a trio of leaders in the Android and advertising units.

Hiroshi Lockheimer, a vice president for Android, is now senior vp for Android, Chrome OS and Chromecast. Neal Mohan, vice president of display and video advertising, also now has a senior in front of the vp title. Lastly, Phillip Schindler, an advertising vp, will now be senior vp of global sales and operations at the company.

Several lower-level employees were also elevated to vice president by Pichai, according to tech news site Re/code.

Pichai was himself promoted to CEO of Google in August as part of the corporate restructuring that formed new parent company Alphabet. He had previously been svp of Android, Chrome and Apps. Google’s new role in the Alphabet conglomerate is search and advertising, while other companies include venture capital firm Google Ventures, health care r&d company Calico and tech lab Google X. Alphabet is led by Google founders Larry Page as CEO and Sergey Brin as president.
