Randy Newman has moved to William Morris Endeavor from Gorfaine-Schwartz Agency, according to Variety.
The singer-songwriter and composer, who has won three Emmy Awards, six Grammys, and two Oscars during his illustrious career, will be represented by WME in all areas except for touring, which will continue to be handled by Paradigm. His son Amos, who runs WME's Music for Visual Department, will become his father's agent.
In addition to his solo recordings, Newman has scored a number of films including "James and the Giant Peach," "Toy Story," "A Bug's Life," and "Seabiscuit." He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2002 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. Last fall, he gave the keynote address at Billboard/THR's Film & TV Conference.
