Katz Media Group, the first media representation firm in the U.S. and a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications (itself a division of CC Media Holdings), has named former Current Media CEO and MTV Networks president Mark Rosenthal as the new CEO of its Katz Radio Group division. Rosenthal will report to Clear Channel CEO John Hogan.

"My goal is to take an already superb company to the next level by bringing more money into the radio sector and creating unsurpassed media solutions for Katz clients.”

Katz Radio Group, founded in 1931, represents 3,000 radio stations in the United States across six divisions; Katz Radio, Christal Radio, Eastman Radio, Univision Radio, CBS Radio Sales, Entercom Radio Sales and Katz 360 Sales.
