Colbie Caillat to Headline T.J. Martell 's Spirit of Excellence Awards Dinner Honoring Troy Carter, Rob Wells, Daniel Ek

Grammy winning singer songwriter Colbie Caillat will headline and perform at the TJ Martell charity exhibition the Artworks for the Cure's Spirit of Excellence Awards Dinner

The T.J. Martell Foundation today announced singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat will be headlining its Spirit of Excellence Awards Dinner, taking place in Santa Monica on October 12. Host of Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family,” Mark Steines has been named the evening's host.

The dinner is part of the T.J. Martell Foundation's three-day Artworks for the Cure benefit event, to feature a contemporary art exhibition/auction and live music.

The ceremony and dinner will award "innovators in entertainment and other industries for their professional leadership and humanitarian spirit." The honorees include Spotify CEO/founder Daniel Ek, Atom Factory CEO/founder Troy Carter, UMG digital head Rob Wells and Catherine An, the founder of An Catering & Tiato Restaurant.

Artworks For The Cure benefits the T.J. Martell Foundation which funds cancer research at twelve top research hospitals in the United States. In Los Angeles, the Foundation funds pediatric cancer research at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Artworks For The Cure, which is presented by American Airlines and the Universal Music Group, is a contemporary charity art show featuring work from street to studio of over 100 painters, sculptors, photographers and mixed media artists, which includes the work of major music artists and prominent rock photographers. The event runs from Oct 11-13.

Headliner and honoree Colbie Caillat is a two-time Grammy winning singer-songwriter whose most recent studio album "All of You," featured her sixth platinum single with "Brighter Than the Sun," which was featured in more than 20 films and television shows and helped launch Oprah’s OWN Network. Caillat will have a new album out this fall.
