“I told Evan to take the ball and run with it," Fair said in a statement. "He has great record making skills, strong relationships in our community and I'm a hundred percent confident he will hit his stride as an A&R man of distinction at Virgin Records,” .

Under this new position, Peters’ responsibilities include scouting talent and engaging in general A&R duties for the label.

Peters’ previous A&R experience includes nine years as the A&R Manager at Interscope/Geffen/A&M, where he worked with a variety of artists including Nelly Furtado, Weezer, Rise Against, Lifehouse, and JoJo. He also co-produced and engineered The Bangles album, “Sweetheart Of The Sun,” and Houses’ “A Quiet Darkness” in 2011.

"I could not be more excited to be reunited with Ron Fair at the newly revitalized Virgin Records," Peters, a Los-Angeles native, stated. "Coming in with a fresh start to this label with such a rich legacy is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I'm proud to begin working with the diverse and talented roster and am looking forward to cultivating the new crop of Virgin artists."
