Downtown Events, the live arm of the Downtown Music family of companies -- which include Downtown Records,, Downtown Music Services and Downtown Music Publishing (which recently acquired the catalogs of Yoko Ono and John Lennon) -- today announced, via a statement, the lineup for the third iteration of its Downtown Music Festival.

The festival will include performances from Black Hippy, Purity Ring, Earl Sweatshirt, Sky Ferreira, DIIV, Palma Violets, Trash Talk, Beach Fossils, Teengirl Fantasy, Inc., Ducktails, Royal Teeth, and Black Dave, with more artists to be announced soon.

The shows will take place across intimate venues in Manhattan's Lower East Side, including the Cake Shop, Pianos, the Mercury Lounge, Bowery Ballroom and more, May 10-11. Tickets are available at

Downtown Events is also venturing off the island of Manhattan for the first time, organizing similar events, with fresh lineups, in Philadelphia, Toronto, Boston, Los Angeles, Denver and Las Vegas.

Downtown Records, the label arm of Downtown Music run by CEO Josh Deutsch, counts among its artists Gnarls Barkley, Major Lazer, Miike Snow, Santigold and Cold War Kids, among others. The label also works, via venture partnerships, with Steve Aoki's Dim Mak label, Diplo's Mad Decent and Alain Macklovitch and Nick Catchdubs' Fool's Gold Records.
