Indie label Illegal Art continues what they call their challenge to "the restrictions of copyright as perceived by the larger music industry," with sound collagist Realistic's new album, "Perpetual Memory Loss," due Oct. 23.

The record is the first release for the label since the success of Girl Talk's "Night Ripper" was released in May of last year. Both albums feature sample-based tracks that make use of the work of other artists; Illegal Art claims Fair Use for all of its releases and state that they have "professional legal counsel nearby if needed."
