Epitah Records is shifting its worldwide digital distribution to Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA) in October. Until now, ADA had been distributing mobile content for Epitaph.

"We do digital distribution for a number of smaller independent labels, but Epitaph is first large label we're doing this with," said Andy Allen, president of ADA.

"We are really excited about the deal with ADA, and it has been a long time in coming," said Epitaph GM Dave Hanson. "The people at ADA are incredibly smart and we believe that the package of services they offer us justifies the fees to have them work on our digital distribution."

In related Epitaph news, Hanson also told billboard.biz that the label will not be renewing their contract with eMusic when it ends in October. "We've had a very good relationship with them, but we feel like it's time to move on," he said.
