RoyaltyShare introduced a Web-based digital music distribution and management service at MIDEM designed to compete with digital distributors like The Orchard and IODA. The system is targeted at smaller independent record labels and DIY artists looking to distribute their digital works on their own.

It's also designed to drum up more customers to RoyaltyShare's core business, which is to handle all the back-end processing of digital sales and distribute royalties accordingly. On that end, the company announced The Beggars Group as its latest client.
