Warner Music Group has formed an advertising revenue sharing agreement with a French user-generated video site called DailyMotion.com.

Similar to YouTube, Dailymotion.com allows users to upload and browse video clips. Unlike YouTube, the site does not place restrictions on the length of the clips, or ban explicit content.

The company did not reveal any details on what technology it will use to identify when WMG-owned content is posted to the site by its users. Initially, the deal will likely apply to when WMG posts content to the site itself as a promotional effort.
