"Live from Abbey Road," FremantleMedia Enterprises' independently-produced music TV series, has been picked up by a host of international broadcasters.

Launched at last year's MIPCOM TV and film market in Cannes, the series is now broadcast in 18 countries, following recent acquisitions by ABC and XYZ in Australia, Rialto Channel in New Zealand, Mico in Japan and ATV in Hong Kong.

The program, produced for the U.K.'s terrestrial station Channel 4, was first exposed to American audiences through the U.S. Sundance Channel.

Each one hour-long episode showcases international artists as they rehearse and discuss their work, before culminating in an exclusive performance at the legendary Abbey Road studios in London.

Performers on the show to-date have included the Red Hot Chili Peppers, David Gilmour, The Killers, Snow Patrol, Paul Simon, Muse and John Mayer.

Fremantle Media is owned by European media network RTL Group. Its portfolio of entertainment programming includes "American Idol" and "Got Talent."
