XM has entered a deal in Canada to deliver programming to wireless, cable and Internet platforms.

XM Canada and media giant Rogers Communications have partnered to deliver content to be included in the Rogers Vision package of wireless services. Rogers is offering customers up to 25 channels of XM music, comedy, sports, entertainment and talk programming.

"This is an incredible opportunity to expand the reach of satellite radio," says John Bitove, chairman/CEO of XM Canada. "We will now reach more Canadians than ever before, and this agreement provides us new avenues for awareness and revenue growth."

XM Canada is owned by Canadian Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. and has an exclusive Canadian license from U.S.-based satellite radio provider XM Satellite Radio.
