Artist manager David Wernham died on May 29 of a suspected heart attack. He was 59.

Early in his career, the Wildlife Management founder managed punk group "The Vibrators", Dave Stewart's first group "The Tourists" and discovered a young Annie Lennox whilst she worked as a waitress in Scotland.

Wernham went on to tour manage the likes of Peter Gabriel, Billy Idol, Big Country, Tears for Fears, and Alison Moyet, and helped guided the careers of pianist and vocalist Oleta Adams and singer songwriter Des'ree, among others,.

He is survived by his mother Mary, his sister Jean and brother Richard, and his partner Ramona.
