Richard Ogden is relocating his European artist management and live music business from London to Sao Paulo, Brazil.

With effect from Aug. 1, Ogden, the former manager of Paul McCartney, and his wife and business partner Telma will migrate Richard Ogden Management Ltd. (ROM) to South America.

"We met Telma at the Maracana Stadium in Rio when I took Paul McCartney down there in 1990 -- Telma worked for the promoter Luis-Oscar Niemeyer at the time --- and she has been here in London with me for 16 years since, so now it's my turn," Ogden explains.

ROM will maintain an office in the U.K., staffed by Brighton University graduate Tom Favilla, and will continue to work with its existing consultancy clients in Europe, which include MJM Music, City Concerts in Russia and Espelho de Cultura in Portugal. ROM's cell phone and email contact details will remain the same, says Ogden.

With activities ranging from artist and producer management, music consultancy and international artist representation, ROM launched in August 2000 with financial backing from German concert promoters Deutsche Entertainment AG (DEAG). Two years later, Ogden bought back DEAG's stake in the firm.
