Officials from the U.K. and German music industries assisted the German national police for a series of raids in Frankfurt on Wednesday (Aug. 8), at which roughly 41,000 illicit DVDs were confiscated.

Seized titles and Bollywood films "Jhoom," "Barbar Jhoom," "Apne," and "Ta Ra Rum Pum" were among the discs seized.

"By working in partnership with IFPI and the police in Germany we're pleased to have been able to disrupt what appears to have been an extensive international Bollywood piracy operation," BPI anti-piracy manager David Wood said in a statement.
