The U.K. arm of Hard Rock International has lined up indie-rock act Ghosts to play exclusively at the restaurant chain next month as part of its global Rocktober string of events.

The Atlantic Records band will perform at branches of the music-themed restaurants in Edinburgh, Manchester Cardiff, Nottingham and London.

All money raised from the concerts, which run from Oct. 9 to 17, will benefit the Caron Keating Foundation. The charity, named after the popular U.K. broadcaster who died in 2004, offers financial support to professional carers, complimentary healing practitioners and support groups dealing with cancer patients, as well as individuals and families affected by the disease.

Hard Rock's Rocktober started in Europe in 2005 with the aim of staging live music in small venues, and last year it featured the Go Go's, Melanie C and Bonnie Tyler. The series of events help local breast cancer charities across the world. Tickets are available from from today.
