Mobile phone entertainment supplier Pocket Group is boasting a catalog of 1.5 million tracks available to license following new deals signed with CD Baby and INgrooves.

The British company, which supplies music, TV, film and celebrity content to more than 50 mobile operators, says the latest deals will secure its status as the world's largest mobile music aggregator.

"The agreements with CD Baby and INgrooves have enabled Pocket Group to become the world's No. 1 mobile aggregator, and one of the largest suppliers of music to mobile across the entire industry," said managing director Andrew Hull in a statement.

The Pocket Group catalog is entirely independent, providing mobile operators access to music from labels and distributors including Pinnacle, Grooveattack, Beggars Group, Domino and Bollywood label Saregama.

Works from Jack Penate, Katie Melua and Dizzee Rascal are among the repertoire that Pocket Group has available to license.
