Warner Music Austria has linked up with T-Mobile International to release what the music company says will be its first ever physical-CD compilation with a mobile-phone operator.

The CD "Electronic Beats Collectables Volume One" is scheduled for a Sept. 28 release in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, followed by T-Mobile's major markets, including Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia at a later date.

The album's title stems from T-Mobile's Electronic Beats, the brand name for the European music festivals, club tours and multi-media products produced by the carrier.

Artists featured on the 17-track CD include U.K. hit-makers Groove Armada, the Mercury Prize-winning Klaxons, German electronic act Modeselektor, and remix specialists Simian Mobile Disco. They have performed at the festivals or clubs, or contributed to the multimedia platforms.

The tracks were chosen by Michael Ho, the Hong Kong-born, U.K.-raised, and Vienna-based FM4 Austria's radio DJ/producer, who is also known as DJ Beware.

Only a selection of the tracks will be available for full-track mobile downloads via T-Mobile's Mobile Jukebox service and PC, depending on which acts have given permission.

Downloads will also be sold via the online stores that Warner Music Austria has partnered with. The average price for the digital products across Europe is €1.49 ($2.10) for a full track, €2.49 per ($3.45) real tone, and €1.90 (4.64) per sound logo.
