A&R veteran Nick Stewart has opened his own music consultancy, Nick Stewart & Associates.

Based in London, the new firm offers its clients such services as music marketing, management and music publishing. Current projects include supervising the re-issue of the U2 catalog, and liaising with Universal on the Eagles' "Long Road Out Of Eden" international album release.

Stewart began his career in 1979 as an A&R scout at Island Records, where he went on to sign U2 and Killing Joke, among others.

He has also worked with Polygram, Sony BMG and most recently with Warner Music's Rhino Records, from which he departed in May from the role as director.
