British trade body the Association of Independent Music will bring a contingent of 19 music firms when it embarks on a third trade mission to New York next week.

Participants in the Oct. 15-19 mission, entitled "AIM 4 America," include Alamo Music, Lo-Max Records and London Calling.

U.K. Trade & Investment, the government body set up to foster trade, is supporting the initiative, which intends to forge links trans-Atlantic business links.

Attendees will take part in networking sessions, receptions and presentations covering the breadth of the U.S. business, including synchronisation licensing, digital, radio, PR, retail, distribution and legal.
