Mumbai-based label Big Music has launched an artist-management division called Big Talent specializing in "360-degree" deals.

Big Talent will operate under the Big Music umbrella, says Big Music CEO Kulmeet Makka, who also heads the new management division. "Big Talent will manage artists as brands spanning live-event management, TV and radio appearances and other projects," he says, adding that Big Music has also launched a live-events division called Big Stage.

The new company's first signings include British-based male vocalist Raghav and female rapper Hard Kaur, who is also based in the U.K.

Big Music was launched last year by the Reliance Big Entertainment conglomerate, which is owned by the Reliance ADAG business group, currently in talks to fund Steven Spielberg-backed studio DreamWorks' exit from Paramount for a reported $550 million.

Big Music is the second local label after Columbia Records India to offer artists 360-degree deals.

Big Music also distributes domestic and international home videos and is Universal Home Video's Indian licensee.
