Sire Records founders Seymour Stein and Richard Gottehrer will be among the keynote speakers at the U.K.'s In The City music conference, which is held in Manchester on Oct. 5-7. Gottehrer is also co-founder/chairman of digital aggregator The Orchard.

Warner Music Group chairman and CEO recorded music for North America Lyor Cohen will also appear along with Big Life Management founder Jazz Summers, whose clients include The Verve. Summers is also chairman of the Music Managers' Forum.

Cohen and Summers will take part in the keynote debate on Oct. 5, titled "The struggle For Power: Record Companies Vs Management Companies."
In The City was set up in 1992 by Yvette Livesey and the late Anthony Wilson, founder of Factory Records.
