Following his Golden Globe win on Monday (Jan. 12), Indian composer AR Rahman has received a nomination in the music category of the U.K.'s BAFTA film awards for his score to "Slumdog Millionaire."

The other nominees are Alexandre Desplat for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard for "The Dark Knight," Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus for "Mamma Mia!," and Thomas Newman for "Wall-E."

"Slumdog Millionaire" picked up a total of 11 nominations for the Orange British Academy Film Awards, staged by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).

Jonathan Ross will host this year's televised ceremony, to be held at the Royal Opera House in London on Feb. 8.
