Leading world-music festival WOMAD has revealed July 24 to 26 as the dates for its 2009 instalment.

The event, now in its 27th year, will remain at Charlton Park in Wiltshire, England. Tickets are on sale now, including the new 'teenager ticket' for 14 to 17-year olds. Children 13 and under will still have free access to the festival with a paying adult.

Acts are yet to be announced.

The dates fall just two weeks before new festival Heavenly Planet (Billboard.biz, Sept. 19 2008), a venture partly organized by former WOMAD artistic director Thomas Brooman that will take place in Reading, a former WOMAD location.
