Warner Music Central Europe has partnered with European video platform MyVideo to offer Warner Music content in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Effective immediately, the site MyVideo.de gives users access to videos by domestic and international artists on the major label's roster as well as interviews, performance clips and behind the scenes footage. Registered MyVideo users can then share and comment on material, and add music videos to personalized playlists. They will also be able to combine music from Warner Music's recorded music catalog into content they create and upload onto the site.

Warner Music Central Europe will also utilize the platform as a digital marketing tool, with plans for video premieres, exclusives, the creation of artist pages and embedded links to online shops.

"As one of the most vibrant and well-populated sites in Germany, MyVideo presents both local and global stars with a powerful promotional and discovery engine through which to grow fanbases in the region," said Bernd Dopp, chairman and CEO of Warner Music Central and Eastern Europe, in a statement.

"Our partnership enables MyVideo users to connect, create and interact with music and video content, whilst ensuring that artists and their labels are appropriately compensated for the value that music brings to the platform."

Manuel Uhlitzsch, managing director of MyVideo's parent company Magic Internet, added, "We are pleased that with this new partnership we can deliver the users of MyVideo even more quality and choice. Our music offering now covers about 80% of the German charts and it continues to grow."

MyVideo offers users over 5.4 million clips and 12,000 on-demand music clips, and claims to have 7.35 million unique users -- making it one of the largest video communities available to the German-speaking territories. The service is ad-supported and does not charge users to register.
