The members of the board of the German music industry association Bundesverband Musikindistrie (BVMI) were re-elected at their Oct. 1 annual meeting in Berlin.

Prof. Dieter Gorny remains CEO of the BVMI. On the board are Edgar Berger, CEO Sony Music Entertainment GSA (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) based in Munich; Frank Briegmann, president and CEO Universal Music Deutschland, based in Berlin; Bernd Dopp, chairman and CEO Warner Music Central and Eastern Europe, based in Hamburg; Wolfgang Hanebrink, chairman and head of commercial development EMI Music GSA, based in Cologne; and Konrad von Löhneysen, managing director Ministry of Sound, based in Berlin.

The BVMI has 350 member companies. They represent 90% of the German record market, according to BVMI.
