Pledge Music, the London-based fan-funded online investment platform, today launches its campaign backing the simultaneous release of three new records by Duke Special on March 1, 2010.

The Belfast-based singer songwriter, previously signed to V2 and Universal, is aiming to raise funding for the recording and marketing of three new records.

Pledge Music enables the artist to set a target for an amount of financing and then ask for pledges from fans. In return, Duke Special is offering premium, personalized bundles ranging from a private show to signed and numbered copies of his new recordings.

Other premium packages will include personal guided tours of Belfast, dinner with Duke Special and his manager, an exclusive recording of a cover song of a pledger's choice, and a day in the studio with Duke Special. All pledgers will also receive exclusive access to bonus music, demos, rough mixes, live tracks, videos, blogs, tour diaries and photographs from the tour.

According to the Web site, Duke Special has so far secured 83 pledges and 42% of his investment target, with 60 days remaining to reach the total.

The first Pledge Music project raised over £60,000 ($97,800) in 30 days for Danish artist Tina Dico.
