Coldplay is to make its long awaited live return with two intimate U.K. gigs in aid of British homeless charity organization Crisis.

The band will play Liverpool on Dec. 19 and Newcastle Dec. 20. Venues for the live shows are yet to be announced.

Tickets go on sale 2pm GMT Nov. 12 via the band's official website and cost £50.00 ($80.00). There will also be an additional auction of 200 tickets, including meet and greet opportunities, taking place in the run up to the shows. Proceeds from the gigs will to be donated to Crisis.

Coldplay are currently working in the studio on its fifth studio album, which Billboard.biz understands is due to be released early next year, followed by touring dates.
