Juan Luis Guerra notches his 11th No. 1 hit on Tropical Airplay as "Tus Besos" (Capitol Latin/Universal Music Latin Entertainment) steps 2-1. The doo-wop-inspired bachata track rises 7 percent (to 611 plays) at the format in the week ending Oct. 26, according to Nielsen BDS. The climb ties the tropical music giant for the fourth-most chart-toppers on the list, matching Elvis Crespo and Jerry Rivera's No. 1 tallies.
On Regional Mexican Airplay, Los Tigres Del Norte leap 6-1, taking Greatest Gainer honors, with latest single "La Bala" (Fonovisa/UMLE). The 44 percent climb (to 10 million audience impressions) gives the group its 15th chart-topping track, as they hold on to their record for second most No. 1s on the list (Conjunto Primavera and Intocable have a tying lead with 16). "La Bala" comes from the group's latest set Realidades, currently in its second week at No. 1 on Regional Mexican Albums
While Tropical Airplay and Regional Mexican Airplay welcome new hits, Enrique Iglesias holds onto the No. 1 spot on the Latin Airplay and Latin Pop Airplay charts with "Bailando" (Republic/Universal Music Latino/UMLE) featuring Descemer Bueno and Gente de Zona. On Latin Rhythm Airplay, labelmate J Balvin spends a third consecutive week at No. 1 with "Ay Vamos" (Capitol Latin/UMLE).
The label also scores a record-breaking week on Hot Latin Songs, where Iglesias' "Bailando" becomes the longest-running No. 1 (26 weeks) in the chart's history.
