Over on the Social 50 charts, Shakira ascends 14-5 thanks to her continued participation in the festivities surrounding the World Cup. She performed her World Cup-themed song "Dare (La La La)" at the event's closing ceremony on July 13 and released a fan-centric video for the track the following day. (Though the video release fell outside the chart's tracking period, which ended on July 13, Shakira promoted the impending release throughout the week.)
Also making a notable six-position jump on the Social 50 is Snoop Dogg, who moves 20-14 with a 17 percent rise in Twitter retweets. During the charting week, Snoop was busy promoting the release of a new mixtape with Tha Eastsidaz, "That's My Work 4," which premiered on mixtape-sharing site datpiff.com. It's Snoop's first release with Tha Eastsidaz since the group broke up in 2003.
Recapping the rest of the Social 50 top 10, Bieber regains the top slot (2-1), while Miley Cyrus dips 1-2. Selena Gomez rises 19-3, thanks to a 343 percent increase in weekly reactions to her photos on Instagram. Ariana Grande remains steady in the No. 4 position while Beyonce rises 7-6. Jennifer Lopez descends 5-7 as 5 Seconds of Summer falls 3-8. Tyrese bumps 11-9 into the top 10 as One Directions moves 16-10 to anchor.
