Azalea's 'Fancy' moves up among the longest Hot 100 reigns by women this decade, while Maroon 5 charts a course back to the top 10.
Iggy Azalea's "Fancy," featuring Charli XCX, continues its Billboard Hot 100 command, spending a seventh week at No. 1. Meanwhile, Nico & Vinz's "Am I Wrong" crowns the Radio Songs chart; Maroon 5 reaches the Hot 100's top 10 with "Maps"; and, just outside the top tier, Ariana Grande and 5 Seconds of Summer soar in with their latest singles.
It's Wednesday, so time for our weekly rundown of the numbers behind the Hot 100's top 10 and more.
With her seventh week at No. 1, Azalea moves into a tie for fifth place among lead women who've scored the longest commands on the Hot 100 this decade. Here's an updated look at the smashes by women in lead roles in that span that have spent most time on top:

"Fancy" has clearly joined elite company: Jepsen's "Maybe" became the top song of the summer of 2012, while Adele's "Deep" took the title as the Hot 100's No. 1 song of 2011. ("Fancy" passes two songs in the 2010s by lead women that each topped the Hot 100 for six weeks: Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" in 2011 and Katy Perry's "California Gurls," featuring Snoop Dogg, in 2010.)
"Fancy" maintains its Hot 100 domination with an eighth week at No. 1 on Streaming Songs (10.7 million U.S. streams, down 3 percent, according to Nielsen BDS). It departs the summit on Radio Songs after three weeks at No. 1 (1-3), down by 1 percent to 144 million in all-format audience, according to BDS. On Digital Songs, "Fancy" holds at No. 3 (after leading for four weeks) with 171,000 downloads sold (down 4 percent) in the tracking week ending on July 6, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
"Fancy" crowns the sales/airplay/streaming-based Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts for a seventh and 12th week, respectively. It also tops the Songs of the Summer ranking for a sixth week, remaining the only song that has led since the annual seasonal list relaunched after Memorial Day.
Azalea also debuts on the Hot 100 at No. 97 with follow-up "Black Widow," featuring Rita Ora. The cut jumps 39-32 on Rhythmic and enters the Mainstream Top 40 airplay chart at No. 36.
Below "Fancy" on the Hot 100, MAGIC! ranks at No. 2 for a second week with its debut hit "Rude," which adds top Airplay Gainer honors. The breezy reggae song keeps at No. 4 on Radio Songs (139 million, up 13 percent); No. 2 on Digital Songs (which it led two weeks ago), down by 15 percent to 180,000; and lifts 4-3 on Streaming Songs (7.7 million, down 7 percent). It's a busy week for the Canadian quartet, which also debuts at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 with its debut album, "Don't Kill the Magic"; the set arrives with 36,000 sold.
"Rude" continues to close the gap on "Fancy" and is perhaps primed to take over the Hot 100's top spot next week. As "Fancy" decreases by 3 percent in overall Hot 100 points and "Rude" rises by 4 percent, the former leads this week with 6 percent more points than the latter. Last week, "Fancy" held a 14 percent points advantage.
Ariana Grande's "Problem," featuring Azalea, holds at No. 3 (after peaking at No. 2 for five weeks). It bullets for a third week at its No. 2 highpoint on Radio Songs (147 million, up 2 percent) and dips 3-4 on Streaming Songs (7.7 million, down 7 percent) and 4-6 on Digital Songs (146,000, down 4 percent), which it led for three weeks. Norwegian pop pair Nico & Vinz's "Am I Wrong" is stationary at its No. 4 Hot 100 peak to date but crowns Radio Songs, rising 3-1 (and bypassing "Problem") with a 6 percent surge to 151 million. The track dips 6-7 on Digital Songs (126,000, down 14 percent) and 10-11 on Streaming Songs (4.3 million, down 5 percent).
Trivia time: with their ascent to No. 1 on Radio Songs, Nico & Vinz become the eighth duo to rule since the chart began in 1990. They take their place alongside Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ("Thrift Shop," 2013); LMFAO ("Party Rock Anthem," 2011); OutKast ("Hey Ya!," 2003); Savage Garden ("I Knew I Loved You," 2000, and "Truly Madly Deeply," 1998); Everything But the Girl ("Missing," 1996); the Rembrandts ("I'll Be There for You," 1995); and P.M. Dawn ("I'd Die Without You," 1992).
Sam Smith stays at his No. 5 high on the Hot 100 with "Stay With Me" (and just below the top 10 as featured on Disclosure's "Latch," which holds at No. 11); Jason Derulo's "Wiggle," featuring Snoop Dogg, is a non-mover at No. 6; Calvin Harris' "Summer" reaches a new peak (8-7), while topping the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart for a third week; and John Legend's former three-week Hot 100 No. 1 "All of Me" falls 7-8.
Maroon 5 lands the Hot 100's lone new top 10 this week, as "Maps" moves 13-9 in its third week. Fueled by the July 2 arrival of its official video, the lead single from the band's fifth studio album, "V," due Sept. 2, rockets 32-12 on Streaming Songs (4 million, up 68 percent). It bounds 17-12 on Radio Songs (59 million, up 10 percent), while regressing 8-9 on Digital Songs (104,000, down less than 1 percent).
"Maps" marks Maroon 5's ninth top 10. Notably, it’s the group's sixth consecutive top 10 single, a streak that the four-week No. 1 "Moves Like Jagger," featuring Christina Aguilera, jumpstarted in 2011 … not so coincidentally after lead singer Adam Levine (along with Aguilera) began his role as a coach on NBC's "The Voice," which premiered that April. The band had tallied its first two top 10s, the No. 5-peaking "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved," in 2004 and added its third, and first No. 1, "Makes Me Wonder," in 2007.
DJ Snake and Lil Jon's "Turn Down for What" rounds out the Hot 100's top 10, falling 9-10.
Pharrell Williams' former 10-week No. 1 "Happy" departs the Hot 100's top 10. Having spent 22 weeks in the top bracket, it ranks as his longest-charting top 10, having bested his featured turn on Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" (also featuring T.I.), which totaled 21 top 10 weeks last year. Meanwhile, Williams claims the Hot 100's Digital Gainer award with "Come Get It Bae," which reaches a new high, pushing 69-58; on Digital Songs it re-enters at No. 39 with a 31 percent gain to 40,000 sold.
Also just outside the Hot 100's top 10, Grande roars in at No. 15 with "Break Free," featuring Zedd. The follow-up to "Problem" bows at No. 5 on Digital Songs with 161,000 first-week downloads sold. Both "Problem" and "Free" preview Grande's second album, "My Everything," due Aug. 25.
At No. 16 on the Hot 100, 5 Seconds of Summer start with "Amnesia," which enters Digital Songs at No. 4 (162,000 sold in its first week). The debut marks the band's best weekly sales sum and highest Hot 100 rank: its breakout hit "She Looks So Perfect" reached No. 24 last month. The group has also tallied top 40 hits this year with "Good Girls" (No. 34) and "Kiss Me Kiss Me" (No. 28). 5 Seconds of Summer has quickly joined lofty company, as only three other acts (and no other groups) have collected four top 40 Hot 100 entries each in 2014: already established hitmakers Chris Brown, Luke Bryan and Katy Perry.
All four songs usher in 5 Seconds of Summer's self-titled debut full-length album, due July 22. (Its "She Looks So Perfect" EP debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in April and has sold 275,000 copies.) "Amnesia" follows "Perfect" as the act's second radio single.
