EDMbiz 2013 will take place in Las Vegas, June 18-20 -- during Electric Daisy Carnival "week" -- it was announced today in a statement. The three-day conference will take place at hotel and casino The Cosmopolitan and will feature panel discussions and keynote speakers from across the increasingly big-bucks world of EDM.

One such discussion will be between William Morris Endeavor music head Marc Geiger and artist Perry Farrell, both co-founders of the long-running Lollapalooza music festival.

“On the one hand EDMbiz is about creating business opportunities, learning and networking, but on the other hand it’s also about discussing the steps the industry must take to preserve the unique elements of dance music events that make them so special,” wrote Pasquale Rotella, CEO and founder of Insomniac, in a statement. “We place a lot of focus on the fans and their voice will be heard at this year’s conference alongside artists, visionaries, and executives.
