inthemix, the successful Australia-based media hub for all things EDM, has announced its plans to launch in the U.S. The launch has been timed to coincide with the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, which has established a media partnership with the website.

“inthemix is like the CNN of electronic music. It’s a valuable source," wrote Ultra Music Festival founder Russell Faibisch in a statement.

“inthemix is where passionate EDM fans can congregate, meet like-minded people and engage with artists, content and events,” wrote Neil Ackland, SoundAlliance CEO and a manager at inthemix. "inthemix is all about amplifying the EDM event experience and we have worked closely with some of the world's biggest festivals, clubs to support and nurture the scene, and bring new fans into EDM.”

To coincide with the U.S. launch, inthemix will publish a list of the ‘50 Most Powerful People in EDM,' including Pasquale Rotella from Insomniac Events (Electric Daisy Carnival), Robert F. X. Sillerman, James Barton from Live Nation and Patrick Moxey from Ultra Records.

At launch, inthemix will be operating out of offices in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami, with more planned.
