The Billboard Latin Music Conference has officially opened its entries for the third annual Latin Music Marketing Awards. The awards, which recognize the integration of music and marketing by honoring agencies and labels that had successful campaigns during the past year, will be held as part of the 24th annual Billboard Latin Music Conference (www.billboardlatinconference.com), taking place April 22-25 at the JW Marriot Marquis in Miami, and culminating with the annual Billboard Latin Music Awards April 25.

The marketing awards were launched three years ago in response to the increasing importance of brands as partners in Latin music tours, videos and even albums. They are the only awards in the marketplace that honor music and artist-driven campaigns in the Latin market.

The Latin Music Marketing Awards honor campaigns in four categories: best campaign of the year, best online or social campaign, best TV campaign and best tour sponsorship campaign. The eligibility period or submissions is January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012. Eligible campaigns can hail from the United States as well as Latin America and Spain. Entries from other countries will be considered as long as they incorporate Latin music or Latin artists.

Submissions for the Billboard Latin Music Marketing Awards will be judged by a panel of music industry experts in the areas of innovation, creativity, content and measurement. The finalists will be revealed on April 6, 2013 and winners will be announced at the Billboard Latin Music Marketing Awards reception, to take place during the Billboard Latin Music Conference, April 23 to 25 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami, Florida.  The winners will then be spotlighted in Billboard magazine and on Billboard.biz.

Advertising agencies and record labels can submit their campaigns before Friday, March 8, 2013, at no cost, by going here.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards, presented by State Farm, will air live on the Telemundo network April 25. For a list of finalists, visit billboardlatinconference.com.
