Rounder Records 'tween group Girl Authority is ready for its close-up. Rounder and PorchLight Entertainment have partnered to co-develop a multi-platform campaign starring the Boston-based girl group. This encompasses a TV series, feature films, Internet and direct-to-video programming, merchandising and other initiatives.

Entertainment lawyer Elaine Rogers, Esquire of Boston's Fish & Richardson, negotiated the deal for Rounder. She worked closely with Girl Authority manager, Michael Pagnotta, president of Reach Media.

Since its March 13 release, Girl Authority's second album, "Road Trip," has sold 10,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The group's self-titled debut, issued last year, has sold 76,000 copies.
