What’s the last album you bought?
I never buy albums or CDs. Probably it would be Lady Gaga.

Do you Twitter? If so, how often? What’s your Twitter name? And if not, why not?
Never. Don't care.

What’s the best use of music in advertising that you’ve recently seen?
Target's triplets ad: "Free to Be You and Me" by Marlo Thomas, believe it or not. The use of this song on this film just works.

At this moment in time, what most worries and encourages you about the music business?
Anyone can make a record with today's technology. That's encouraging. What worries me, is lack of artist development, label promotion, professional producers, etc. It's a double edged sword.

What is the most significant moment in the history of music and advertising?
I think the Beatles song on Nike, U2 on Apple, and Sting on Jaguar. After that, most artists didn't think it was selling out anymore. They realized the benefit of music in advertising: Money and exposure.

Beatles or Stones?
Beatles.
