Plenty has been said about The Ramones through the years, both from within and outside the band. Now Marky Ramone, 58, the group's second drummer and only non-founder inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is taking his turn in Punk Rock Blitzkrieg: My Life As a Ramone, published Jan. 13 by Touchstone. In the book, Ramone (real name Marc Bell) -- who logged 15 years in two separate stints with the group -- offers a frank account of the musical magic and personal dysfunction that was The Ramones and details his life before and after the group, including his 30-year marriage.
