A lawsuit was filed Wednesday in the U.S. Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on behalf of ICP members Violent J (Joseph Bruce) and Shaggy 2 Dope (Joey Utsler) and four Juggalos claiming that their constitutional rights of free expression and association and due process have been violated due to the U.S. Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigations issued the gang designation in the 2011 National Gang Threat Assessment.

Hip-hop artist DJ Drama has joined the A&R staff at Atlantic Records. Based in Atlanta, he will oversee recording projects, sign new talent and contribute to the artist development process for existing talent on the Atlantic roster. In addition, DJ Drama’s newly established Means Street Studios in Atlanta will become the studio base for Atlantic artists while in the market.

He's ready for more. "I found it liberating after 15 years of verse-chorus-verse," Ebert says. "One of the reasons that I love doing this is that the interaction with the director regarding the story -- the music needs to expose the inside and that's a wonderful process."

Apple Inc and Samsung Electronics have agreed to attend a mediation session to be held on or before February 19, as they prepare to clash in court in March over smartphone patents. Apple CEO Tim Cook and Samsung CEO Oh-Hyun Kwon will attend the session with in-house lawyers only, according to a Wednesday court filing.
