Ed Hardy, president of the Country Music Association Board of Directors, has been announced as the recipient of Country Radio Broadcasters' 2014 President's Award. The award will be presented during the Country Radio Hall of Fame dinner and awards ceremony set for Feb. 18, 2014, which also unofficially kicks off the Country Radio Seminar.

"The Country Radio Broadcasters have been blessed through the years with the support of many key stakeholders, but few have made more impact or have been more enthusiastic in their support of the Seminar than Ed Hardy,” commented CRB Board president Charlie Morgan in a statement. “We are delighted to recognize Ed's unwavering and enduring contributions to the success of CRS with the 2014 President's Award."

Hardy will join previous winners such as Erica Farber, president and CEO of the Radio Advertising Bureau, and Bob Romeo, CEO of the Academy of Country Music. The President's Award goes to individuals who have contributed significantly to the marketing, growth, and development of CRB and the Seminar. Before he came to CMA, Hardy served as president of Great American Country Television Networks and president of the W.O. Smith Community Music School Board of Directors.
