On its fourth and best album, Arcade Fire detonates the signature, soaring, baroque pop that made it famous, opting for a new groove-based, humanistic and ultimately more ambitious sound. "Reflektor" -- a double album that, at just 13 tracks, actually feels less bloated than previous LP "The Suburbs" -- has rhythm in places that seem beyond the reach of the Canadian/­American family band that captured the indie-blog zeitgeist in 2004.
