Production company Dick Clark Productions has tapped Yahoo as the official digital distributor for content around the 2013 American Music Awards, to be held Nov. 24 at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.
The partnership begins with Yahoo live streaming the AMAs press conference at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York on Oct 10. Kelly Clarkson and will.i.am will read the nominees in all categories.
Yahoo will also stream a three-hour red carpet prior to the AMAs telecast on Nov. 24. Additionally, Yahoo will carry a variety of other digital programming, including exclusive performance rehearsals, artist interviews and backstage footage.
In August, Dick Clark Productions and Cumulus Media Networks announced a partnership to create original radio and digital content opportunities around the AMAs and Billboard Music Awards.
Dick Clark Productions and Billboard share the same parent company in Guggenheim Partners.
