Live Nation has announced new general managers for two of its popular Los Angeles concert venues.
Rick Merrill has been appointed GM of the 2,300-capacity Wiltern and Stacey Levine has been named GM of the 3,800-capacity Hollywood Palladium. Merrill has served as GM of Los Angeles’ soon-to-close Gibson Amphitheatre since 1993 and Levine was GM of the Wiltern since 2009. She has also managed several events this year at the Palladium. Previous Palladium GM Julie Briggs left the venue in May; Levine had been running both the Wiltern and Palladium in the interim.
“Rick and Stacey have been a crucial part of our Los Angeles team for many years,” Bret Gallagher, president of North American concerts, Southern California/Las Vegas said in a statement. “Their skill, talent and experience are tremendous assets. We look forward to seeing them thrive in their new roles.”
Earlier this year, Live Nation tapped longtime Troubadour talent buyer Brian Smith to join its team of talent buyers in Southern California. The Live Nation Southern California team as consists of promoters Bill Silva, Andy Hewitt, Emily Simonitsch, Nick Masters, Eric Herz, Rich Best and Greg Siegel.
