EMI Music Marketing (EMM) has named three VPs, all based in L.A.

EMI Music Marketing (EMM) has named three VPs, all based in L.A.

Kenny Di Dia has joined EMM as VP of marketing, reporting to Phil Quartararo, president of EMM and executive VP of EMI Music North America. Di Dia was formerly VP of marketing for Warner Bros. Records, where he worked with Quartararo when the latter was Warner Bros. Records Inc. president. Di Dia will work with EMI's North American labels and EMM sales team to support new releases, develop promotions at traditional and nontraditional retail and forge sports and lifestyle affiliations.

EMM has also promoted Herb Agner to VP of EMI Music catalog marketing. Agner joined EMI in 1998 and most recently served as senior director of marketing. He reports to Ronn Werre, senior VP of sales and catalog marketing.

Finally, EMM has tapped Julia Michels as VP of soundtracks. Michels, who was VP of creative affairs at 20th Century Fox Music, reports to Cynthia Sexton, senior VP of strategic marketing/licensing.
