ASCAP has made two promotions and named a new VP in New York.

Lynne Lummel, formerly VP of the performing rights group, has been upped to senior VP, with responsibility for television, radio, advertising and promotion, repertory and other areas. Lummel joined ASCAP in 1988. Seth Saltzman, who has been with the body since 1984, has been upped from VP to senior VP of member management, with responsibility for business affairs, estates and claims and member services. Both execs report to COO Al Wallace.

Meanwhile, ASCAP has named Harry Poloner as VP of membership, overseeing East Coast pop/rock activities. Poloner, who was VP of creative at EMI Music Publishing, reports to Tom DeSavia, senior VP of the membership group.
